ACLI provides a wide range of benefits that help protect your health and well being. We provide some benefits at no cost to you, some you pay for, and other benefits costs are split between you and the ACLI. This mix-and-match approach allows you to create a customized benefits package that best suits you and your family’s needs.
Once you make your benefit selections, these choices remain in effect for the entire plan year. Due to IRS regulations, all benefit elections are binding for the plan year, January through December. However, with supporting documentation, you may modify your benefit elections if you experience a change in status such as:
- Birth or Adoption
- Marriage or Divorce
- Death of a dependent
- Involuntary loss of other health coverage
- Eligibility of health coverage for spouse
- You or your family member becomes eligible for Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP
Note: A benefit change must be consistent with the life event. You must contact human resources within 30 days
(60 days due to Medicaid or CHIP eligibility) of any change in status listed above.
